Power Bi - Denodo

We want to connect Power BI to Denodo platform using Saml/Oauth authentication, in order to consume some views in ODBC and others via a REST Service. Denodo Platform is located on an azure VM with a Solution Manager as SSO, Power BI is installed on Local machine. SAML is configured for the SSO in the Solution Manager with Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID). We can connect to the Solution Manager using SSO with our Microsoft Entra ID credentials. When we try to connect Power BI to the Data Source we have either: - an error using ODBC "ODBC: ERROR [08001] fe_sendauth: no password supplied" - an error for REST with SAML "WWW-Authenticate header doesn't contain a valid authorization URI. Header value: ''" What are the steps required to such connection?

Hi, If I am using Oauth authentication for consuming the views by ODBC connections, I would check if Oauth Authentication is enabled at server level in Administration ->Server Configuration-> [Server Authentication]( section. For consuming views from Denodo in Power BI using Single Sign On, Kerberos and basic authentication methods are supported. SAML authentication for consuming the Denodo REST services is not supported at this moment. For further information about the custom connectors and the authentication methods, please refer to [Connecting Power BI]( and [Denodo Power BI Custom Connector](,Windows%20authentication,-When%20you%20decide) User Manual which explains the steps to connect Power BI with Denodo. If you still need further assistance and if you are a valid support user, you can raise a [Support Case](, for further assistance from the Support Team. Hope this helps!
