How to clean cache for specific views/folder

If I want to clean cache of specific views and not whole database, is it possible? If yes, how? Can I clean cache of all views in specific folder? If yes, how?

Hi, Did you try the **Invalidate Cache Tool**? You can clean specific views cache and you can also select all views into a folder with it. Click on "*Tools*" > "*Invalidate Cache*" to open it in your **Virtual DataPort Server**. I would take a look into "*Virtual DataPort Administratio Guide*", "*Invalidate Cache*" section. There are more specific details about it. Hope this helps!

Thanks Denodo team. It helps. This is good option. But its manual. Is there any way to clean cache of specific views and not whole database with Scheduler?

Hi, You could invalidate the cache using the **ALTER VQL** sentence for all the views you want to clean, and use it at the **Scheduler**. e.g.* ALTER VIEW yourview CACHE INVALIDATE ON CASCADE;* Hope this helps!

Thanks so much Denodo team. ALTER VIEW yourview CACHE INVALIDATE It works for view in full cache mode when you set job type = VDP.
