LDAPS query results from Azure are truncated

First, let me preface this by saying that I know nothing about the product. My expertise in is Active Directory (AD), but I was brought into this issue to explore a possible cause related to AD. We have a user who runs queries on the Groups OU. The On-prem query of the Groups OU returns over 500K items, while an Azure query returns only about 470K items. The 470K query format for an Azure Domain Controller (DC) is ldaps://azureserver.domain-name/OU=Groups,DC=xxxx,DC=xx and the 513K query for an on-prem Domain Controller (DC) is ldaps://On-PremIPAddress/OU=Groups,DC=xxxx,DC=xx. The on-prem DC is running Windows Server 2012 R2, while the Azure DC is running Windows 2016 Datacenter. Apart from that there is nothing else about the queries that seems different. I replicated the output grid below, since I am unable to paste a picture or attach a document. Start time | End time | Result | Global (E/W) | Extracted (T/E/W) (Azure) 2/1/2022 06:55:43 | 2/1/2022 06:56:46 | Complete | blank | 470614 / 0 / 0 (On-prem) 2/1/2022 06:07:00 | 2/1/2022 06:08:06 | Complete | blank | 513939 / 0 / 0

Hi I would troubleshoot this scenario by verifying the configuration of [LDAP data source]( along with the properties specifically on the options 'Use paging' and 'Max page size' against the limit in LDAP server to ensure the groups are returned as expected. You can take a look at [LDAP Authentication Best Practices]( for more information.
