Can I store Denodo Metadata information in my own SQL Server ?

Team, Can I store Denodo Metadata information in my own SQL Server database rather than default Apache Derby database ? If Yes, what is the process to do the same. We use Denodo Version 7. Thank you, Dilip

Hi, By default, the Virtual DataPort server metadata is maintained and managed in an embedded Apache Derby RDBMS which, at the moment, cannot be changed to another database. If you simply want to retrieve the metadata, you can utilize the available [predefined stored procedures](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/latest/vdp/vql/stored_procedures/predefined_stored_procedures/predefined_stored_procedures). However, the feature to store Virtual DataPort server's metadata in an external RDBMS other than the embedded Apache Derby database is on the roadmap. Hope this helps!
