How to store the data of role management to external metadataDB (Solution Manager)

Hi denodo team In general, the Roles Management are stored as part of the Metadata of the Embedded DB. After i enabled the External metadata database of Solution Manager, the new value should be store into External metadata database when i add a new role. but it wasn't. i checked all the tables in External metadata database of solution manager side. It seems there is no table about role management like the table vdp_role in vdp server. im not asking how to migrate data from embedded db to external db. I want to confim that why the role still store in Embedded DB even after i enabled the External metadata database of Solution Manager. And how can i avoid this problem? I also ask the same question at these tickct . I will be appriciate if you guys could reply it. Hi, I am able to view the new roles added in the external metadata database. You can query the table vdp_role or vdp_users to get details on the new role and user. Not the vdp_role or vdp_users in VDP server. I m talking about the solution manager side. This problem only occur in k8s/docker user. Anyway, i will talk this issue with support team. Thankyou

Hi, Apologies for the unintentional mistake. I would like to inform you that in Solution Manager, when you configure an external database for storing metadata, the role/user information is not stored in that external database, but stored in the embedded Derby, which is the current specification and the expected behavior of the Denodo Platform. Hope this helps!
