Reconciliation Mechanism in Denodo

Hi Team, We have a use case wherein the Business expects the data to be reconciled on a weekly basis, if the reconciliation is successful, data between source and denodo matches then the data should be refreshed to the final view, if not then the final view should have the data till previous week. Can you help and suggest the innate denodo function which woould help us to acheive this. Thanks

Hi, In general, the Denodo Platform will only store the metadata of the data sources and the data(results) from the underlying data sources are fetched in **realtime** i.e., the **exact data** available in the data source at a **given time** will be displayed in the Denodo Platform. If the data of the previous week needs to be displayed, then it is necessary to enable the [**cache**]( for that [view]( a week before and store the results(data) at that time in the cached database so that it is possible to retrieve them later. I would make use of the [Incremental cache]( mode if the data alone varies with time in the underlying source. Else if the schema of the underlying source changes, then I would use the [Source Refresh]( option available graphically or use the [**REFRESH** statement]( Also, I would use the [**Scheduler**]( of the Denodo Platform for automating these processes based on the requirements. Hope this helps!
