Error handling mechanism on Baseview

Hi, I created one datasource and on top of it there is a baseview. Suppose the source is unavailable now and base view is throwing error and its not retrieving the data. Now whenever baseview throws error due to any reason. It should trigger an mail to its author or any mail which I specify. Can you please let me know how can I do it?

Hi, Yes, it’s possible to set up email alerts for a variety of events and errors in the Denodo Platform. This Knowledge Base document, [Configuring alerts in Denodo](https://community.denodo.com/kb/en/view/document/Configuring%20alerts%20in%20Denodo), explains how you can configure email alerts in Denodo. There are several ways to configure email alerts, but in your case, I would suggest setting up Log4j Alerts and making use of the SMTPAppender. Hope this helps!
