Login admin issue

Hello: I just installed denodo 5.5 express version successfully on my Windows 7, sp1, 32-bit. I do not have administrative right on my laptop, but my System-Support team helped install it fine using administrative account. My issue(s) are: (a) My Virtual DataPort Server fails to start and sits comfortable at "Status: STOPPED" (b) My Virtual DataPort Administrative Tool login fails with admin/admin for Server URL //localhost:9999/admin with message "connection error: Connection refused: connect" I had my System-Support-team member login and start "Denodo Platform 5.5" from Start menu, using his administrative login, but it also fails for both (a) and (b) above I checked the logs (a) denodo-launcher.log (b) vdp-admin.log (c) 4 logs under vdp and all are empty 0KB Can someone please provide direction for above? Thanks

Hello, There's nothing logged from the Denodo server startup, so it might be a Java issue. Please make sure you installed the correct version matching your OS architecture (32 bits). Also, you can try to start the Denodo VDP Server using the Windows Command Line, and see if you get any more details on the issue. To do this, go to your Denodo installation folder and run the following: %DENODO_HOME%/bin/vqlserver_startup.bat Hope this helps.
