Hi, Is it possible to have different versions of Denodo (e.g. version 7 & version 8) running on the same machine? They don't have to be running simultaneously. With kind regards, Phil

Hi It’s possible to run different versions of the denodo platform on the same machine and it is also possible to run different versions simultaneously. The conflict will arise if both instances are using the same ports, you’ll need to configure both the instances to use different ports. Please note that running both versions on the same machine is a valid approach only for upgrading purposes. You could check the “Running Both Versions in the Same Computer” section of the [Denodo 8 upgrade manual](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/8.0/platform/upgrade/introduction_to_upgrading#running-both-versions-in-the-same-computer) to know more.
