Can joins be dynamically added to a live query through a custom policy using the condition parameter ? Or are the contents of the condition parameter always added to the end of the currently executing query's WHERE clause? Can somone change the topic of this post to "Joins in a Custom Policy"? I can't edit the topic.

Hi, The condition parameter for custom policies needs to be evaluated per row returned, and whether that row meets the condition is either true or false. A join clause doesn't return a boolean, making it incompatible with the condition parameter. Once the condition parameter is either met or not met for a row, a filter is applied accordingly. The options for the filter to be used revolves around rejecting or masking rows. Adding a join is not included in the available options for filters. For more information on the parameters used for [Custom Policies](, you can view the [Developing a Custom Policy]( page of the Developer Guide. Hope this helps!
