Scheduler Job execution Details

SQL server procedures are loading data to a CSV file. Need to implement this solution using Denodo and send the status of the job execution as view output. We are able to export the view output in a CSV file using Denodo scheduler jobs. 1. Is there anyway we can track the status of the job execution details from a Denodo metadata tables ? If not, what are the possible we can track this information to report this as view output ? 2. Can we customize the file name based on the input parameters ? 3. Can we grant access to user to run this job on a need basis ?

Hi, I understand that you have successfully created a job in Scheduler and were able to export the results of a job in a CSV format. Please find the answers to your questions below: > Is there anyway we can track the status of the job execution details from a Denodo metadata tables ? If not, what are the possible we can track this information to report this as view output ? In order to check the status of the job you could use the Scheduler API by accessing the below URL: `http://<host>:<port>/webadmin/denodo-scheduler-admin/swagger-ui/index.html` Alternatively, you could also use the curl command to track the status of the job. For more information, you could refer to the [Scheduler REST Client API](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/8.0/en/scheduler/administration/developer_api/rest_api/rest_api) section of the Scheduler Administration Guide. > Can we customize the file name based on the input parameters ? If you configure a CSV Exporter then by default the exported file will be located under the directory <DENODO_HOME>/work/scheduler/data/csv. However, if you would like to change the file name based on your requirement, then you could specify any variable (following the syntax @{field:<DOCUMENT_FIELD_NAME>}) in the Output file parameter. where DOCUMENT_FIELD_NAME represents a field in the exported document. For this, you could refer to the[ Changing the output location for CSV exporter](https://community.denodo.com/kb/en/view/document/Changing%20the%20output%20location%20for%20CSV%20exporter) Knowledge Base article. > Can we grant access to user to run this job on a need basis ? You could assign READ privilege for a role by navigating to Administration > Permissions and assign these role to user who needs to run the job. For more information, you could refer to the [Permissions ](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/latest/en/scheduler/administration/administration/server_configuration/management#permissions) section of the Scheduler Administration Guide. Hope this helps!
