Has anyone had success integrated a VCS like GIT and Azure Devops and performning DevOps like deployment practices? Ideally, i would be able to initiation a build and release using git and deploy without any user interaction.

Hi Team, I would like load latest VQL file from git and want to automate the deployment with denodo is it possible?is any plugin identified for the same. or i want to create vql file and deploy same in to different env like dev,qa, prod how we can achieve the same?

Hello, As documented on the Denodo 8.0 Documentation about [Environment Management](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/latest/en/vdp/administration/version_control_systems_integration/vcs_configuration/environment_management#environment-management), it is not recommended to promote elements between environments through VCS, being the best alternative to do so through Solution Manager. For automation there is also the option of using the Solution Manager API, which allows you to automate the creation and deployment of revisions between environments. You can find out more about this on the Denodo 8.0 Documentation on [REST API](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/latest/en/solution_manager/administration/appendix/rest_api/rest_api). On a side note, you can use the import command to make a pull from a repository and deploy the VQL on the target. An example of that would be: ``` import -r /tmp/repotest -pf /Temp/dbtest.properties -re dbtest:database:dbtest -h localhost:9999/dbtest2?admin@admin ``` Hope this helps!
