cache_wait_for_load option added in 6.0 version by default for query execution

I have imported some of views from 5.5 to 6.0 environment. Not using any caching in any of views. When running quey in Denodo 6.0, I can see ('i18n'='us_pst', 'cache_wait_for_load'='true') is appended for the query. Due to this option as true, query takes longer time than expected (see documentation for this options usage). This option is used mainly when caching is used. We are not using ANY caching in any of the reference views. Same query in 5.5 shows just ('i18n'='us_pst') and runs fast. Not understanding why this option remains enabled when we execute any query. Anybody has answer to it? Thanks!

Hi! As your query does not use caching in any of your views, I think *“cache_wait_for_load”* option should not affect the query performance. Have you checked the performance executing the query in Denodo 6.0 in the VQL shell without *“cache_wait_for_load”* option? Hope this helps!
