If I face such a scenario, I would set the memory limit to the amount of memory for a single query to use. To do so, follow the below steps:
* In Virtual DataPort Administration Tool, click **Administration > Server configuration**.
* Navigate to the Memory usage tab.
* Enable the Limit query memory usage.
Additionally, I would use the Denodo [**Diagnostic & Monitoring Tool**](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/8.0/en/vdp/dmt/index) which can be used to keep the track of the active sessions, requests and monitor utilization of resources in a visual manner.
