Connect to Denodo from the Power designer tool

Hello, Is there any documentation on how to connect from the SAP Power designer tool to Denodo? We want to connect to Denodo from the designer and generate the Data models based on the associations in Denodo - which we have created already in Denodo. Please help. Thanks.

Hi, I was able to use an **ODBC interface** to connect to Denodo from SAP Power Designer Tool by following the below steps: * **[Install the ODBC driver](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/latest/en/vdp/developer/access_through_odbc/configuration_of_the_odbc_driver_on_windows/configuration_of_the_odbc_driver_on_windows#install-the-odbc-driver-on-windows)** and **[set a new DSN](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/latest/en/vdp/developer/access_through_odbc/configuration_of_the_odbc_driver_on_windows/configuration_of_the_odbc_driver_on_windows#set-up-a-dsn-on-windows)** (data source). * In the Power Designer Tool, navigate to **File** -> **Reverse Engineer** -> **Database…** * Provide a name and select **DBMS** as **ODBC 3.0**. * In the **Selection** tab, choose **Using a data source** option and select the created ODBC data source (DSN). After establishing the connection, you could see the Virtual DataPort views listed along with all the primary keys and associations to generate the Data model. You can take a look at the **[DSN configuration for ODBC connections to VDP](https://community.denodo.com/kb/view/document/DSN%20configuration%20for%20ODBC%20connections%20to%20VDP?category=Northbound+Connections)** Knowledge Base Article for more information. Hope this helps!
