Hi, I would like to inform you that Denodo **accepts** the field names that begin with underscore. However, Denodo throws an error when the [view name](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/8.0/en/vdp/administration/server_configuration/identifiers_charset/identifiers_charset#unicode-mode) starts with an underscore. In Denodo, you could not use [reserved words](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/latest/en/vdp/vql/language_for_defining_and_processing_data_vql/syntax_conventions/syntax_conventions#basic-elements-of-vql-statements-reserved-words) as a view name or column name. For your scenario, ‘AS OF TIMESTAMP’ is **not a reserved one** which is simply a clause statement. In a data recovery context, it is useful to be able to query the state of the view at a previous time. For more information, you could refer to the [Syntax Conventions](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/latest/en/vdp/vql/language_for_defining_and_processing_data_vql/syntax_conventions/syntax_conventions) section of the Virtual DataPort VQL guide. Hope this helps!
