Cached view - Tableau Server will not pull in data

I have a view that I can see cached results for in the VDP. I have scheduler set to refresh this cache daily. For some reason Tableau Server will not succefully connect to this data source (it is visible in the connections list). It has ~250k rows and the cache settings are as follows: Full -- Never expire -- batch interset size default I can run a query in VQL Shell and see all of the rows. Scheduler says it ran succesfully and cashed everything. However, when I pull up the view in Tableau Server it does not allow me to see the "update now" button. All of the others data source work fine. Any suggestions?

It looks like invalidating and reruning form the scheduler, then closing out of Tableau and creating a new workbook has solved the problem.

Hi, I am glad that you were able to solve the problem. In your case, I would also make sure the type of connection method used over the view in Tableau. For any further reference and troubleshooting, you could refer to the Knowledge Base article [How to connect to Denodo from Tableau Desktop](https://community.denodo.com/kb/view/document/How%20to%20connect%20to%20Denodo%20from%20Tableau%20Desktop?category=Northbound+Connections). . Hope this helps!
