Custom Functions and Denodo 8

Hi, Our organisation is currently using Denodo 7 and we have created a couple of Custom Functions which are used across different databases and projects. We are using a dev environment with Eclipse Oxygen and Java 1.8 and export the Custom Functions as a jar which were imported into our Denodo environments as a Custom Extension. The Eclipse plugin is deprecated according to this page: Installing Denodo4Eclipse Plugin, https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/8.0/en/denodo4e/install_denodo4e/install_denodo4e We will move to Denodo 8 and wonder how to upgrade the Custom Functions? Do you still use Eclipse Oxygen? Thanks

Hi, You could refer to the following Knowledge Base article [How to debug Denodo custom extensions with Eclipse](https://community.denodo.com/kb/en/view/document/How%20to%20debug%20Denodo%20custom%20extensions%20with%20Eclipse) which elaborates the steps on how to create/modify functions using the Eclipse IDE. Please note that this article explains how to use Eclipse, but you can also use IntelliJ IDEA to debug your extensions for Denodo. Hope this helps!
