Hi, To enable SSL, I would generate a keystore, keypair, and a certificate. I would go through the following steps, detailed in the section [Obtaining and Installing SSL Certificates](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/latest/en/platform/installation/postinstallation_tasks/enable_ssl_connections_in_the_denodo_platform_servers/obtaining_and_installing_an_ssl_certificate) of the VDP administrator guide. * Generate a keystore and keypair * Export the self-signed public key to a file (or alternatively generate a Certificate Signing Request if acquiring the certificate from a Certificate Authority) * Import the certificate into the truststore of the Denodo Servers * Copy the public key to the VDP Admin tools that will connect to this server * Import the public key into the JDBC clients Many of these steps can also be accomplished using the [SSL/TLS Configurator script](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/latest/en/platform/installation/postinstallation_tasks/enable_ssl_connections_in_the_denodo_platform_servers/denodo_tls_configurator_script), which can save plenty of time. For more SSL configuration information, please see the Denodo Installation Guide’s section on [enabling SSL in Denodo Servers](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/latest/en/platform/installation/postinstallation_tasks/enable_ssl_connections_in_the_denodo_platform_servers/enabling_ssl_in_denodo_platform_servers). Hope this helps!
