Hi, I would use “ENCRYPTPASSWORD” command on the VQL Shell to encrypt the password manually. Refer to [Export to a File with Properties](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/7.0/vdp/administration/exporting_and_importing_the_server_metadata/exporting_and_importing_elements_across_different_environments/export_to_a_file_with_properties) section of the Virtual DataPort Administration Guide to get more details.
