Dynamic unpivoting

Hi Team, I am working on Denodo 8.0 and need your suggestion with dynamic unpivoting. Whats the best way to handle this unpivoting dynamically scenario? The IDs and date range can change. There can be various IDs in the rows and Dates in the column for each row.. Input- ID Date 1 Date 2 Date 3 Date 4 Date 84 ID1 ID2 ID3 ID4 This is the Expected Output: For each ID and Date combination create a record.. or in other words unpivot the date columns to rows.. ID1 Date 1 ID1 Date 2 ID1 Date 3 ID1 Date 84 ID2 Date 1 ID2 Date 2 ID2 Date 3 ID2 Date 84 Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi, There are different ways one can unpivot a view within Denodo. And while you are working in Denodo 8, I would recommend unpivoting a dynamic view using the Denodo XtraFuncs for VDP UNPIVOTREGISTER. Please refer to this Denodo Community article [Denodo XtraFuncs - User Manual](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/document/denodoconnects/8.0/Denodo%20XtraFuncs%20-%20User%20Manual). Other alternative approaches include creating a VQL view using UNION, or creating the same view using GUI. These approaches can work without using Denodo XtraFuncs for VDP. For details, please refer to this [Denodo Community article How to Pivot and Unpivot views](https://community.denodo.com/kb/en/view/document/How%20to%20Pivot%20and%20Unpivot%20views). If you still need help and you have a valid support user account, please open a new support case at the [Denodo Support site](https://support.denodo.com/) so that the support team can assist you. Hope this helps!
