Read only access in Scheduler

Hi In Scheduler is it possible to only provide view permission without execute access to users on particular project. The "Read access" current allows user to execute every job in the project Thanks

Hello, Denodo Scheduler offers different global permissions that affect the whole server. From these, **Admin**, **Create**, **Write** and **Read**. Based on the documentation, the **Read** privilege grants the user to view but also to execute a job, so it is not possible to separate those actions from each other. You can read more about this through the Denodo 8.0 Documentation on [Management - Permissions](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/8.0/en/scheduler/administration/administration/server_configuration/management#permissions). Hope this helps!

Thanks. Pure "Read Only" access is very common case- when the support analyst might only need read access to view logs, but do not have access to execute any jobs. Is there any workaround you can suggest?

Hello, At this moment, the supported global permissions for Scheduler are the one listed in [here](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/8.0/en/scheduler/administration/administration/server_configuration/management#permissions). The one with the least granularity is Read which is for reading and executing a job. That is how it is currently designed. We have, however, gathered your feedback on this functionality so it can be analyzed internally for future versions of Denodo. Hope this helps!
