Caching denodo platform

Hi, Can anyone provide a hardware requirements to use oracle as a cache in denodo platform. I want to know how much space it may require and whether it will use hard disk or RAM. and so on.

Hi! If you configure an Oracle database as cache it will use hard disk to store the information. An alternative if you want to use on memory database is using another product like Oracle TimesTen. There are no specific hardware requirements for a database to be used as cache for Denodo Platform. I would check the hardware requirements for your Oracle version in the Oracle documentation. About the required space, it depends on your VDP database.
