Execution plan says completed but query still running

Hello Denodo Gurus, I am hoping someone can shed some light on the below scenario: 1. In the VDP shell, am running a simple select query from a base view, and clicked on retrive all rows. 2.The query keeps on running for a long time. 3.Upon checking the execution trace from the query monitor , the lowest node on the branch shows status as COMPLETED and the complete number of rows. 4.On the node above it (JDBC wrapper) and the other nodes in the branch, the number of rows is the same as the completed node , however the status says PROCESSING. 5.How do I find out what is Denodo processing and why is it stuck like this for a long time? The datasource being used here is an Oracle db, and there is no other joins etc as I am using a simple base view. Thank you.

Hi, When you cancel an execution of a query, each node will tell you what state the node was in during the execution. It is completed at the bottom branch because Denodo has received all the data from the data source but the other nodes are still processing the data to return it to the client. This is similar to a question asked [here](https://community.denodo.com/answers/question/details?questionId=9060g000000XfDgAAK&title=why+the+SQL%27s+execution+time+is+slower+in+Denodo+than+the+time+in+Oracle%EF%BC%9F). You can refer to [Execution Trace Information](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/latest/en/vdp/administration/appendix/execution_trace_information/execution_trace_information#execution-trace-information) in the **Virtual DataPort Administration Guide** for more information.
