Hi, Generally speaking, from a performance perspective, it is recommended to place the Virtual DataPort Server in the same data center where the bulk of the data you are planning to access to is located. This way you can minimize the network transfer and latency. In your case I would advice you to take all the regions where your data sources both in AWS and Azure are hosted into consideration. I would then choose the region and cloud provider where your highest expected volume of transactions will occur. If you have a high volume of data that you want to consume in different regions, another interesting architecture to think about could be the [Multi-layer architecture]((https://www.denodo.com/en/webinar/multi-cloud-data-integration-data-virtualization). This however requires to set up multiple Virtual DataPort Servers that will be interconnected with each other. To get a deeper understanding of Denodo Architecture practices I can recommend enrolling in the [Data Virtualization Architecture](https://www.denodo.com/en/denodo-platform/services/education/course/den80edu07a/data-virtualization-architect) course. Hope this helps!
