Hi, I'm a newbie here and I'm struggling with adding a new Denodo database connection in Superset. I have followed the documentation but the connection is not successful. I'm missing something basic here that I can't pinpoint to yet. PFB the details. SQLALCHEMY URI: **denodo://admin:admin@a.b.c.d:9090/testdatabase** ---> Is this correct understanding? Denodo URL: **http://a.b.c.d:9090/denodo-design-studio/#/** Denodo Username/Password:** admin/admin** Database URL:** jdbc:postgresql://p.q.r.s:5432/testdatabase** Denodo Server Screenshot: **** Kindly assit me in understanding the SQL Alchemy URI structure and establishing the Denodo database connection in Superset. Apologies for my ignorance. Thanks.

Hi, In general, to connect to the Virtual DataPort Server with SQL Alchemy, we need to mention the ODBC port number in your Connection URL. But, you have mentioned **9090** as the port number, which is the web container port number, used to publish the web services and web applications. So, please find below the steps to configure the correct URI: * In your Superset, specify the host name where the Virtual DataPort Server is running and **ODBC** port number in order to connect without any issue. For instance, follow the below connection URI syntax: ``` denodo://<username>:<password>@<host>:<odbcport>/<database> ``` * Mention the ODBC port number configured for your Denodo server, the default port number is 9996. If you have customized the port number, please give the same in the connection link. **NOTE:** If you want to know the ODBC port number of the Denodo Server, please click on ‘Administration>Server Configuration > Server Connectivity’. Hope it helps!
