Design studio default VIRTUAL DATAPORT SERVER

Hi Denodo Team, When I load design studio, by default the VIRTUAL DATAPORT SERVER field is populated with **//localhost:9999/** value. How can I override this value with my preferred value or list of values as drop down? This is to make the DIY team's life easier by avoiding additional input during login and since Solution Manager and Denodo Platform are running on different instances, it will never be localhost. Thanks for your answer. Regards, Sripathi

Hi, The Design Studio does not allow users to change the Virtual Dataport Server information(such as host, port, database name) in the login page. But, as you know, it is possible that the user can provide the URI of the Virtual Dataport Server by adding the URI parameter to the URL. I would suggest taking a look at the[ Design Studio Preferences](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/latest/vdp/administration/starting_virtual_dataport/starting_the_design_studio/design_studio_preferences#:~:text=The%20users%20can%20provide%20the%20URI) section of the Virtual Dataport Administration Tool for more information. Currently, the enhancememt request has been raised for the user to be able to configure the URI of Design Studio and our internal team is working on it. Hope this helps!

Hi, There is no specific planned release date but it will be coming as a future update. Once it's added, you can check the details in the [Denodo Platform New Features Guide](Denodo Platform New Features Guide) page. Also, you can track this enhancement anytime under the "Support & Services" > "Enhancements" section of the Support site and search for the following in the Search bar: > Add VDP server(URL or host/ip and port) setting in Design Studio Hope this helps!
