SSO authentication SAPBW-->DENODO-->TABLEAU

Hi, I would like to know if we have the option of SSO (kerberos or other) to connect from TABLEAU (Reporting) to DENODO and FROM DENODO to SAP BW (SOURCE DB). Thanks, Elias.

Hello, You can connect from Tableau to the VDP server using Kerberos Authentication. To do this you need to: 1. Enable Kerberos Authentication in the VDP Server. (Follow the steps defined in “Setting-up Kerberos Authentication” of the [Installation Guide](https://community.denodo.com/docs/view/document/Denodo%20Platform/Denodo%206.0/Denodo%20Platform%20Installation%20Guide) and then steps of section 'KERBEROS AUTHENTICATION' of the [VDP Administration Guide](https://community.denodo.com/docs/view/document/Virtual%20DataPort/Denodo%206.0/Virtual%20DataPort%20Administration%20Guide)) 2. Set ODBC/ADO.net authentication type to Kerberos. ( Section “Access through ODBC” of the [Developer Guide](https://community.denodo.com/docs/view/document/Virtual%20DataPort/Denodo%206.0/Virtual%20DataPort%20Developer%20Guide) explains how to configure a DSN so ODBC clients use Kerberos authentication) Now, regarding the Southbound connection, currently is not possible in VDP to connect to a BAPI datasource (SAP BW) using Kerberos. So if I understand correctly your question, pass-through authentication using SSO credentials would not work for this datasource.
