MS Access DB --- directly connect to a file on File Server

We have an access DB that is accessible via our File Server and a network location. I am trying to figure out what custom wrapper or jar file is required to get this to working. This is for MS Access 365. I have read through many of the community entries and documentation and cannot find the specific details I need.

Hi, In order to connect to MS Access from the Denodo Platform, I would create an ODBC data source in the Virtual DataPort server. I would perform the following steps in the Virtual DataPort Administration Tool when the DSN for MS Access is already created in the ODBC Data Source Administrator tool: 1. Create a new **ODBC Source**. 1. In the Data Source configuration. choose “**Access**” on the **Database Adapter list**. 1. On **Connection Type**, I would choose the DSN option and select the DSN created in for MS Access on the DSN dropdown. 1. Alternatively, I can choose the **Direct option** on Connection Type, provide the mdb or accdb File path, and choose “MS Access Driver” on the Driver dropdown. You can take a look at the [ODBC Sources](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/latest/en/vdp/administration/creating_data_sources_and_base_views/odbc_sources/odbc_sources) section of the Virtual DataPort Administration Guide for more information on how to create an ODBC data source. You also refer to this similar Community question [Ms-Access database connection](https://community.denodo.com/answers/question/details?questionId=9060g0000000A0OAAU&title=Ms-Access+database+connection) for more information. Suppose if you still need help and if you are a valid support user then you can raise a support case on [Denodo Support Site](https://support.denodo.com/) so that our support team can help you. Hope this helps!
