In general, while creating [Revisions](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/latest/en/solution_manager/administration/promotions/creating_revisions/creating_revisions) under the Promotion Options in the Solution Manager Administration Tool, some or all the databases/elements of the Virtual DataPort Server may not be displayed in the **Revision Elements** tab when the Virtual DataPort Server configuration details are incorrect or when the user account used for creating Revisions do not have sufficient privileges over the required databases/elements.
In order to troubleshoot this issue, I would perform the following steps:
* I would ensure if the source Virtual DataPort Server configuration details such as the **hostname** and **port** number defined in the Solution Manager Administration tool are correct.
* Since both the source and target Virtual DataPort Serves are in the same environment in this use case, I would double check if the correct Virtual DataPort Server, say the first server, is selected in the **Virtual DataPort Server drop down** in the **General** tab of the new Revision.
* I would also verify if the Solution Manager Administration Tool user account has **sufficient privileges** in the Virtual DataPort Server to view the required databases/elements in the Revision Elements tab of the new Revision.
* Additionally, If the ‘Authenticate with current user credentials for creating revisions’ option is not selected in the **General** tab of the Virtual DataPort Server configuration, then I would make sure the user account provided in the **Virtual DataPort Server configuration** has **sufficient privileges** in the Virtual DataPort Server to view the required databases/elements in the Revision Elements tab of the new Revision.
