MPP and authorization

Hallo Denodo Team, First of all, thank you for the answeres to my many questions. This question may be vague, because I didn't really understand the context. Is there any possible issue that you are aware of with authorization/security when entrusting query execution to an MPP engine? I would gladly answer no, but is there any piece of documentation that may help me to substantiate what is only a feeling? Thank you again Alberto

Hi, I would ensure the user configured in MPP Data Source has necessary privileges to create tables and insert data into them. As long as you have the authorization for the users defined correctly in Virtual DataPort and also the underlying Data Sources, the query execution at MPP can be entrusted just as it would be in Virtual DataPort server. I would suggest you to read [how to configure MPP in Denodo](https://community.denodo.com/kb/view/document/How%20to%20configure%20MPP%20Query%20Acceleration%20in%20Denodo?category=Performance+%26+Optimization) in the Knowledge Base Article and also [parallel processing](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/7.0/vdp/administration/optimizing_queries/parallel_processing/parallel_processing#parallel-processing) and [Data movement](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/7.0/vdp/administration/optimizing_queries/data_movement/data_movement#data-movement) sections of the Virtual DataPort Administration Guide. Hope this helps!
