JOIN views: adding a suffix/prefix with the source view name to the field names?

Is there a way to include a prefix or suffix in the field name when joining views (e.g. the source view name)? (except of course adding them manually for each field, which could be prone to mistakes especially over time) This adds some traceability and avoids duplicates. I found this answer here: but I can not see the option when right clicking. I only see these options when selecting multiple fields in the output of a derived view: "find", "set field as PK", "select", "edit", "drop". Not using the express edition. Using a CA license to access a licensed shared Denodo developer VDP server.

Hi, For this scenario, I would do the following steps in the Virtual DataPort Administartion Tool: 1. Click on desired derived view and click on "Edit" tab of the view. 1. Now, click on the "Output" tab of the view. 1. Select the different attributes you want to rename by clicking in their checkboxes in the first column. 1. Right click over the field type column in any of those attributes. 1. Select the option "Rename selected fields adding a prefix" 1. Enter the prefix you want to add, then click on Save. As it is explained in the following question, you can use the option "Rename selected fields adding a prefix" that is available since the latest update 20160905 of the Denodo Platform 6.0: [Naming Conflicts in query]( Hope this helps!
