info about view settings in metadata

Hi, I found this: https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/6.0/vdp/vql/stored_procedures/predefined_stored_procedures/predefined_stored_procedures to get information about a lot of metadata. As denodo has a lot of parameters and settings for each view (checkboxes and textfields), we are trying to find out where denodo saves this information. For comparison reasons, and search reasons regarding settings in a lot of views, I am trying to find out a way to query settings. Settings I mention are for example in baseviews: the database adapter, driver class, database URI,.. I suppose Denodo stores this information somewhere? kind regards

Hi, Denodo stores the metadata information in terms of wrappers, tables, properties etc. I would recommend you to look at the VQL of the Data Source, Base View and any other elements to get more details about how Denodo holds the metadata. You can use DESC command in the VQL shell to get the metadata information about any elements as well. Refer to the [Describing Catalog Elements](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/6.0/vdp/vql/describing_catalog_elements/describing_catalog_elements) section of the Virtual DataPort VQL Guide to get more details. Hope this helps!
