Denodo Views

Hi Denodo community, I have the following: 1. Data Source: JSON * Name: HTTP CLIENT * Configure: Post * URL: Rest Call The source currently has nested elements, some fields either appear as a register or arrays. I do not want to flatten in Denodo, I am using the following JDBC DriverName=com.denodo.vdp.jdbc.Driver DriverClassPath=C:\Denodo Platform\tools\client-drivers\jdbc to tap into this JSON file to create a flat file from it. However, fields that appear as register or array in Denodo are not being picked up by the driver. Is there anyway I could indicate I would like to pick up registers and arrays. I would like to conduct ETL on this JSON file, instead of flattening manually in Denodo. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I am able to view the Array and Register fields of a Denodo base and derived views in a JDBC client via Denodo JDBC driver. I perform the below steps: * I created a base view with array and register fields over a JSON data source using POST operation. * I accessed the views from DBVisualizer, a JDBC client, using the Denodo JDBC driver. * I am able to view the Array and Register fields. I suggest to download the latest [Denodo express]( and try to view the Array and Register fields using the latest Denodo JDBC driver. Hope this helps!

Thank you Denodo Team, At this moment I believe we cannot migrate to 7.0, can we use the latest Denodo JDBC driver on 6.0? Thanks in advance.

Hi, Also, is there a way to improve the JDBC connection using parameters in the connection string. When connecting from a client I see the drive is unstable at times, it shows the client as not responsive. Please advise.

Hi, Yes, you can try with the latest 6.0 Denodo JDBC driver. You can refer to [Parameters of the JDBC Connection URL]( of Virtual DataPort Developer Guide to know how the parameters in Connection String can be configured. If you still face issues and if you are a user with valid Support account, you may open a support case at the [Denodo Support Site]( and the support team will help you Hope this helps!
