Denodo Jobs with dependencies

Hi Team, Any way to create a job with dependencies without a CRON trigger. There are 5 jobs which I want to run in sequence, but to set a dependency it seems CRON trigger is also to be set. Please help. Denodo 5.5 Thanks.

Hi, You can set dependencies by using the “Add new dependency” option in the ‘Triggers’ section during the job creation. For more details, you can refer to a similar community question [here](https://community.denodo.com/answers/question/details?questionId=90670000000Xcj5AAC&title=Scheduler+Trigger). Hope this helps!

Hi Team, But I do not have to set a CRON trigger only dependecies. The jobs have to be triggered manually not timed. So I need jobs with dependencies without CRON trigger. Denodo 5.5 Thanks.

Hi, The [Dependencies Among Jobs](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/6.0/scheduler/administration/creating_and_scheduling_jobs/configuring_new_jobs/dependencies_among_jobs) is a section available only with the cron time trigger. For your case, I would set the job’s cron expression to execute in a future date like ‘29 Feb 2020’. Meanwhile, I can still start my job with dependencies manually. Additionally, if you still need help and if you are a user with valid Support account, you may open a support case at the [Denodo Support Site](https://support.denodo.com/MainPage.do) and the support team will help you. Hope this helps!
