Hi, Everything you need to know for using SAS in denodo should be covered by [this](https://community.denodo.com/answers/question/details?questionId=90670000000XcmsAAC&title=Regarding+Denodo+Connectivity+with+SAS) post. Hope this helps!

The post does not include how to import a local SAS data set file. There is som article regarding a wrapper provided by Denodo for a LOCAL SAS dataset file, we need help with that.

Hi, As stated [here](https://community.denodo.com/answers/question/details?questionId=9060g000000L71YAAS&title=How+can+I+import+the+SAS7BDAT+file+into+Denodo+with+Metadata%3F), the best way to access SAS data files is through the jdbc connector. I can point you to information on [Developing Custom Wrappers](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/6.0/vdp/developer/developing_extensions/developing_custom_wrappers/developing_custom_wrappers) if the JDBC route doesn’t work for some reason, which would need to be developed in eclipse using [Denodo4e](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/6.0/platform/installation/denodo4e/denodo4e#denodo4e). But, if you insist, then if you have a valid support user account, I would suggest you open a [support ticket](http://support.denodo.com/) when asking for help with custom development. Hope this helps!
