How does security work in webadmin?

We're implementing denodo 7.0 and trying to change the default password. The VDP Servers for the platform and solution manager are straight forward but it appears that the itpilot and scheduler webadmin allow changes to configuration without logging in. for example I can hit the url https://server.com:9090/webadmin/denodo-itpilot-admin/ and it appears I can navigate to, for example, the verification server and change admin passwords and some port numbers without being logged in. How many admin users are there in a denodo 7 installation? What do I need to do to ensure the default admin password has been changed everywhere?

Hi, As described [here](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/7.0/platform/installation/postinstallation_tasks/postinstallation_tasks_in_virtual_dataport/change_the_default_password#), you should actually delete the admin user after you’ve created another administrator, or at least change the password of the user In VDP. Only administrative users are able to log into the ITPilot administrator tool, and only using the correct password for that user set in vdp. You can check what users are administrators by going to Administration > User Management and checking the value under “Type”, and administrators should be listed first. If you are able to access the Administrator tools, you are in fact logged in with one of those administrative accounts. Hope this helps!
