How to get files referenced in https://community.denodo.com/kb/view/document/How%20to%20access%20VDP%20from%20SAP%20BusinessObjects?category=Northbound+Connections

So we are attempting to create a JDBC connection in SAP's BOBJ to Denodo and are following the instructions in https://community.denodo.com/kb/view/document/How%20to%20access%20VDP%20from%20SAP%20BusinessObjects?category=Northbound+Connections We notice that there are supposed to be some files from Denodo (vdpen.prm, vdpen.cod, vdp.rss, vdp.prm). We have looked everywhere for these files and are not able to find them to place them on the BOBJ server for the JDBC connection. Are we misunderstanding something or is there a specific spot we should be looking for these files?

Hi, The document you are referencing says that these files ((vdpen.prm, vdpen.cod, vdp.rss, vdp.prm) are added to the <BO_HOME>/dataAccess/connectionServer/jdbc folder. Hope this helps!

Hi, So those files are not in that location and we do not know how to get them. We have followed the directions in that document and we do not get those files. Thanks, Carey

Hello, So those files are the BusinessObjects configuration files. If those files are missing completely, then I am thinking that the full BusinessObjects module is not installed at all in the machine you are searching in. The configuration was tested with SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0. What I would suggest is run a search on your computer to see if any of those files are found - if they are not, then I would assume that something was not installed completely. Hope this helps!
