Access Denodo published REST Web service through web app inside firewall

We are using Denodo v 6.0 on Windows environment. The question is: We have published REST Web service through Denodo and are able to click the link and get the html view. We need to consume the RESTful service in a customized web app (Angular 4). We are able to consume other (outside) RESTful services but not the internally Denodo published RESTful service (with $format=json). Is this due to the web app is accessing as an anonymous user and is rejected per security settings inside the firewall? What would be the fix for this? Thanks!

Hi, In order to access the REST webservices that are published in Denodo from an external web application, I would make sure that the following checks are met: - User, who is trying to access REST webservice is a valid Denodo authenticated user. - If the firewall is enabled, then [Ports needed by the VDP Server](https://community.denodo.com/kb/view/document/Ports%20needed%20by%20the%20VDP%20Server?category=Operation) are not blocked by the firewall. Hope this helps!!

Appreciate the response. It turned out nothing to do with firewall but need to enable CORS. Thanks!
