WebService Dependencies

Is there are way I can get DEPENDENCIES (VIEW_DEPENDENCIES) similar way that we can get for base, integrated and business views?. Looking for a way to get Lineage from "Web service-Business-integrated-Base-Datasource" via command (VQL). Also, any way I can get the whole Lineage (Tree) from outside Denodo using API and get the picture/graph with complete Lineage?

Hi, The DESC statement allows obtaining a description of the elements in the Virtual DataPort server. If you run “DESC VQL REST/SOAP WEBSERVICE <web_service_name>” query in the VQL shell, it would give you the dependency information within it. For more information, please refer to the [Describing Catalog Elements](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/7.0/vdp/vql/describing_catalog_elements/describing_catalog_elements). The data lineage stored procedure, VIEW_DEPENDENCIES(), can be exposed to API by publishing a view created on top of them. In order to do so, please follow the steps below: 1. Create a view on top of the VIEW_DEPENDENCIES stored procedure: `CREATE OR REPLACE VIEW view_name AS SELECT * FROM view_dependencies();` 2. Publish the new view as a REST web service 3. Deploy the new web service 4. Access this web service using a URL similar to this: http://localhost:9090/server/your_database/your_new_web_service/views/your_new_view You can find this URL in the Web Services Container by going to Tools > Web Services Container. If you are a Denodo Customer, please don’t hesitate to open enhancement requests for any need. Hope this helps!
