Hi, I was able to install Denodo Express in my linux box by following the instructions in the [Using the Command Line Installer](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/7.0/platform/installation/using_the_command_line_installer/using_the_command_line_installer#using-the-command-line-installer) documentation. Once the installation is successful, you can start using Virtual DataPort Server following below steps: * If you have not installed the license, you can rename the Denodo License file to ‘denodo.lic’ and copy it to <DENODO_HOME>/conf directory. * Launch the Virtual DataPort Server by executing the vqlserver_startup.sh shell script which is available in <DENODO_HOME>/bin folder. Now you can connect to Virtual DataPort server by providing connection detail (login, password, Server URI) in Virtual DataPort Administration Tool. Since Virtual DataPort Administration Tool is a graphical tool, it will require a Graphical User Interface. If you are accessing from a command line interface like Putty or Winscp, you need to have X display like **Xming** or **Xlaunch** in the machine from where you are accessing your Virtual DataPort Administration Tool. Hope this helps!
