Oracle Set Role

Is there a way to have Denodo set the role for the user connecting to an Oracle database through a Denodo view? e.g. "set role <role_name>"

Hi, Denodo provides assigning access privileges through its User Management and Role Management found under Administration, in Virtual DataPort Administration Tool. You may set access restrictions such as column restrictions and row restrictions to the user. You can refer to [Modifying and Deleting Users](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/7.0/vdp/administration/databases_users_and_access_rights_in_virtual_dataport/administration_of_databases_users_roles_and_their_access_rights/modifying_and_deleting_users) section of the Virtual DataPort Administration Guide for more information on this. However, it is not possible if you wish to push down Oracle's SET ROLE statement from Denodo's view. Hope this helps!
