Hi, Currently, the best way to accomplish that is to create a test user specifically for role testing and then launch a second Admin Tool session to log in and perform your tests. Keep in mind that [Access Rights](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/6.0/vdp/administration/databases_users_and_access_rights_in_virtual_dataport/user_and_access_right_in_virtual_dataport/user_and_access_right_in_virtual_dataport#roles) are cumulative, so if you want to test a specific role, you'll want to be sure it is the only role assigned to the test user at the time of testing. Hope this helps!

Hello, Denodo now has the functionality to impersonate a Role or User. You can refer to the **Impersonation** section in the [Privilege auditing](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/8.0/en//vdp/administration/databases_users_and_access_rights_in_virtual_dataport/privilege_auditing/privilege_auditing#:~:text=Privilege%20auditing-,Privilege%20auditing,-Logging%20Details%20when) documentation for instructions and guidelines on how to configure impersonation. Hope this helps!
