Data Source creation using an api call

Hi I am a newbie and was wondering how to create a DS using an api call. I have a website whichas paramaters and when run it generates data in any format of choice and I want to use that as my datasource. I tried using json and csv datasources. I can create the sources but the data seems to be empty when queried through denodo but not when queried directly using a browser. The address is something like below http:/IP:9080/v2_0/Service/?start_period=date1&end_period=date2&format=csv I have used interpolation variables and have used http client as data route for my datasource (csv aswell as json) http:/IP:9080/v2_0/Service/?start_period=@{startdate}&end_period=@{enddate}&format=csv Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Hi, I'm able to create a JSON datasource and fetch data using GET method so a I couldn't reproduce your issue. I'd suggest you to take a look the documentation about the ["Path types in Virtual DataPort - HTTP"]( and the ["Execution Context of a Query and Interpolation Strings"]( to check if everything is configured properly. Take into account that dates usually causes issues in terms of format so require special attention when configuring these fields. Maybe you could enable the logs on your website to check that the request sent by Virtual DataPort is correct. Also, you could take a look to the [JSON]( and [Delimited files]( sources configuration. Hope this helps!
