How to populate a column in the base view which is not present in the Datasource?

I am trying to populate a column in the base view with same value. For example I have manually added "Year" column in the base view which is not present in the Datasource. I would like to populate the Year column with 2018 for all records. How can I do that?

Hi, In order to populate a new column of the Denodo view with the same value for all records, I would create derived views over the respective base view and perform the following steps: * Under the output tab of the derived view, click on the '**New field**' button. * In the '**New Field**' dialog box, set the column name in '*Field name*' parameter. * Provide the corresponding value directly in the '*Field expression*' parameter so that the same value applies to all records of the column and save the changes. Hope this helps!
