Hi,
Before creating a ODBC data source in Virtual DataPort Administration tool located in Linux, I would first enable the support for ODBC Sources in Linux by following the steps from this [document](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/7.0/platform/installation/postinstallation_tasks/postinstallation_tasks_in_virtual_dataport/enabling_the_support_for_odbc_sources_when_the_virtual_dataport_server_runs_on_linux#enabling-the-support-for-odbc-sources-when-the-virtual-dataport-server-runs-on-linux).
Then, I would create a ODBC data source in Virtual DataPort Admininstration Tool by specifying the appropriate connection parameters.
You could take a look at [ODBC Sources](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/7.0/vdp/administration/creating_data_sources_and_base_views/odbc_sources/odbc_sources#odbc-sources) section of the Virtual DataPort Administration Guide for more details.
Also, note that SAP HANA data source can also be created using JDBC. I suggest you to refer the Knowledge Base (KB) Article [SAP HANA as VDP data source](https://community.denodo.com/kb/view/document/SAP%20HANA%20as%20VDP%20data%20source?category=Data+Sources) for more details.
Hope this helps!
