overwrite or delete a map

I created a map in Virtual DataPort. I want to overwrite this map but I can't figure out the function. I tried to delete the original map to do this, but that function is not recognized. How do I overwrite a map with new values? can I delete it?

Hi, I have been able to modify a MAP by using the VQL commands [LIST](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/7.0/vdp/vql/listing_elements_in_the_catalog/listing_elements_in_the_catalog#listing-elements-in-the-catalog), which returns a list of a map names present in the Virtual database, [DESC](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/7.0/vdp/vql/describing_catalog_elements/describing_catalog_elements) which retrieves the description of the map, and [DROP](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/7.0/vdp/vql/removing_elements_from_the_catalog/removing_elements_from_the_catalog), which drops the map. Here is the syntax for each command which you can use to set up new values for your map: 1. LIST MAPS SIMPLE ON <virtual database name>; 2. DESC VQL MAP SIMPLE <map_name>; 3. DROP MAP SIMPLE IF EXISTS <map_name> CASCADE; Hope this helps!
