You can access Apache Kafka from Denodo Platform by creating a data sources in Virtual DataPort Administration Tool. Once you are connected to Kafka or any other datasource you can query data in Denodo.
Alternatively, if you are a support user, you can download ‘Denodo Kafka Custom Wrapper’ from [DenodoConnects](https://support.denodo.com/resources/denodo-connect/list/Denodo%207.0) in the Denodo support site, through which you can create a Kafka custom data source and consume messages from Kafka.
For more details, you can refer to [Denodo Kafka Custom Wrapper - User Manual](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/document/denodoconnects/7.0/Denodo%20Kafka%20Custom%20Wrapper%20-%20User%20Manual).
Now, in order to use Denodo as a source in your case, you can access the Denodo server using a [JDBC client](https://community.denodo.com/tutorials/browse/basics/4connect1jdbcclient) or [ODBC client ](https://community.denodo.com/tutorials/browse/basics/4connect2odbcclient)
Hope this helps!
