I understand from your question that the Error 'Datasource type not supported' could have occurred due to improper data source configuration.
For your case, you could recreate the data source by importing the Scheduler export zip file by navigating to Configuration > Server configuration in the Scheduler Administration tool.
While importing make sure to enable ‘Replace Data Sources if exist’ property as this would overwrite the configuration of existing data source.
