Hi, I would like to know whether we can pass a local directory path from the data source to the business rule for the Delimited file

The scenario is, i have a production environment, and have delimited files in two folders(one is production and the other one is development folder. We are not suppose to touch the production folder. In case if we need to do a unit test in Production environment(testing the Business rule) we have to use the development folder files, In that situation we have to change the path manually, Instead of doing that, is there any way to change the path or pass the path to the Business rule?. Hope the question is clear. Thanks and Best Regards, Megha

Hi, I was able to enter the local path to a delimited file in the data source at run time by introducing an interpolation variable in the local path. To achieve this, in the data route section of the data source, I clicked on configure and added my interpolation variable using ‘@’ in the local path. For eg. @path. More information regarding this can be found in the section [Local Path](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/7.0/vdp/administration/creating_data_sources_and_base_views/path_types_in_virtual_dataport/local_path#local-path) and the section [Paths and Other Values with Interpolation Variables](https://community.denodo.com/docs/html/browse/7.0/vdp/administration/creating_data_sources_and_base_views/path_types_in_virtual_dataport/path_types_in_virtual_dataport#paths-and-other-values-with-interpolation-variables ) of the Virtual DataPort Community Guidelines. Hope this helps!
